In Vaishali, some people beat a young man fiercely for voting for Chirag Paswan. People created a ruckus by blocking the road in protest against the incident. The incident took place in Saidpur Ganesh village under Bidupur police station area. Family members say that due to election rivalry, miscreants called him from home, took him to Diwan Tok Diara in Raghopur, beat him with sticks and injured him badly. After the incident, angry local people blocked the road for some time near Saidpur Ganesh. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the police officer of Bidupur police station reached the spot and cleared the jam after pacifying the people. The police admitted the injured Arjun Paswan, a resident of Saidpur Ganesh, to the Primary Health Center Bidupur for treatment.

The wife of injured Arjun Paswan alleged that Naresh Rai, Suraj Bhan Rai, Vipin Rai and others beat him up due to election rivalry. She alleged that all the above named people took my husband to Diwan Tok Diara on the pretext of some work. Then they asked him whom he should vote for in the Lok Sabha elections. My husband told them that he voted for the Helicopter symbol. On hearing this, they pounced on Arjun Rai and beat him up with sticks. Police engaged in investigation
As soon as the information about the incident was received, the police of Bidupur police station reached the spot and took the injured Arjun Paswan to the primary health center in Bidupur for treatment. Regarding the incident, Bidupur Police Station President Arun Kumar said that a case of assault has come to light after taking a person from Bidupur to Diwan Tok Diara. The injured have been treated. The entire matter is being thoroughly investigated.
